Our Rights Respecting journey began back in 2012 when the United Nations Charter for the Rights of the Child became a part of our ethos. We launched with a competition to design a logo for our school and Ruby the Rights Respecting Robin was born! At Coedffranc Primary, every child is an ambassador for children’s rights and every child is responsible for promoting and respecting them. Rights education is part of our learning in class, is part of our fundraising and is a part of who we are.
We were proud to achieve our ‘Record of Commitment’ in the summer of 2016 and the Silver Award for being Rights Aware in December 2018.
