Helping at home

Maths and Numeracy Support and Activities

In Coedffranc Primary we follow a ‘concrete, pictorial, abstract approach’ for Maths and Numeracy. It’s proven to help the children learn by dividing the different areas of maths into a series of small learning steps. These small, linked steps help the children understand what they are learning and why more clearly. For more information about the approach and what your child will be learning by clicking here.

If you’re looking for video clips to help you get a better understanding of the way that we teach Maths and Numeracy in the school, take a look at these free video clips. If you’re not sure which unit of work your child is looking at from White Rose Maths, please drop your child’s teacher a message on Class Dojo and they’ll be happy to let you know.
